Confidentiality
The information you share in therapy will remain confidential. There are certain limitations and exceptions to confidentiality that you should be aware of. In the following situations, I am a mandated reporter:
- Client discloses intent and/or plan to harm yourself or others.
- The therapist determines client is a danger to self and/or others.
- Client discloses abuse, neglect or exploitation of a child, elderly person, or a disabled person.
- A court orders the disclosure of information.
**Therapist may utilize case records for supervision, in which the client would be identified by initials only.
